It has been a while since the last time Spiderman 2 got any information. In January, Sony kicked up their marketing efforts for Spiderman 2. It was part of a clever marketing strategy for PlayStation 5, and Spiderman 2. In May, we got a trailer drop during PlayStation Showcase 2023, the trailer revealed gameplay. In June, during Summer Games Fest 2023, Sony revealed that Spiderman 2’s release date for PlayStation 5 is October 20, 2023.

Sony also announced a Limited Edition Spiderman 2 console. The new Limited Edition bundle comes with the console itself, the Limited Edition covers, Limited Edition controller, and a voucher for Spiderman 2.
