It’s been a while since Sony hosted a State of Play focused on game announcements. On June 3, 2025 – Sony has announced that they are hosting a new State of Play livestream on June 4, 2025. Sony says the focus of this State of Play livestream is centered around third party, and first party games for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR2. State of Play begins on June 4, 2025 at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 11pm CEST / June 5 at 6am JST.
