Earlier this year, on January 6th, during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2020), Sony held their own event revealing some announcements about PlayStation in general. During the event, Sony let out some information about the new PlayStation 5 console. On March 18th, Sony held their own livestream, intended for GDC 2020. The livestream was a deep dive of some of PlayStation 5’s specs. [Read here to see the recap of the event.] On April 7th, Sony revealed the PlayStation 5 Controller. There were rumors that the PlayStation 5 Reveal is soon, and some reports were saying that PlayStation 5 would be revealed on June 3rd. Those reports and rumors were put to rest by Sony. The official reveal date is June 4th, and Sony says that the reveal will be all about PS5 gameplay. To coincide with with the announcement, Sony released a teaser for the event on YouTube…
That event has been delayed, because of the widespread protests and riots that have happened over the weekend. Sony took to Twitter to announce that the PlayStation 5 Reveal Event has been delayed indefinitely.
We don’t know when the Reveal of PlayStation 5 will take place, but when it is dated, I’ll be right here to report it.
